ePortfolio 2.0: What's New?
Below are the updates for users who have already worked with our previous ePortfolio and want a quick overview of what’s different.
New: Structure, design, QR code, and course catalog
- The ePortfolio can now be found directly in the main navigation as a standalone item
- Clear separation between the ePortfolio main page, which shows all already documented courses, and the course catalog, which appears after clicking "+ Document course".
- Clicking "+ Document course" takes you to this screen:
- Here you can choose between selection from the course catalog and self-entered (freely definable) courses
- Courses can be found and documented directly by scanning a QR code! The course confirmation (certificate) is also added automatically. This saves enormous time when a QR code is displayed
or
- Course catalog that can be searched and filtered, e.g., by semester, course types, etc.
- Courses can be hidden in the course catalog. If the course catalog contains, for example, elective courses that you don't plan to complete, you can hide them for yourself.
- Multiple confirmations can now be added to a course, e.g., in addition to the scanned QR code, a photo of a certificate/diploma, or a photo of the instructor's badge
- The ePortfolio main page can be freely organized into sections and already documented courses can also be moved within sections. The sections organize your ePortfolio by workplace, semester, rotations, etc., however it's clear for you. The sections are sorted by date in descending order. You can also find documented courses via full-text search.
- Added but not yet confirmed courses (= without certificate) are displayed prominently
