Paramedic + Nursing care
For paramedic and nursing care, we have worked with customers to develop tried-and-tested EPAs based on framework curricula for paramedics, healthcare assistants, nurses, anesthesia nurses, and emergency nurses.
These can be used immediately or adapted as required.
Medical Training
For medical training, the development of subject-specific EPAs is the responsibility of the professional associations.
Switzerland
The Swiss Institute for Medical Continuing Education and Development (SIWF) maintains an overview of the current status of developments.
The Swiss College of Surgeons (SCS) has developed a “Core Surgical Curriculum” (CSC) for basic surgical training in Switzerland. The CSC is recognized by the SIWF and has been in use for many years.
Germany
In Germany, the German Medical Association (BÄK) adopts EPA-based training regulations.
