prepared360 makes attitude measurable through a structured 360° feedback process that places psychological safety at its core and fosters sustainable personal development.
Competency-based education and training (CBME) comprises three dimensions: knowledge, skills, and attitude.
While preparedEPA captures professional skills through brief, daily workplace assessments, prepared360 covers the third dimension: attitude — including communication, collaboration, and professional conduct.
The two tools intentionally follow different rhythms.
EPA assessments are short and frequent, taking place after each relevant activity as part of everyday clinical practice.
360° feedback, by contrast, is a periodic process — typically conducted one to three times per year — that provides a comprehensive perspective from not only supervisors, but also peers, nurses, and other professional groups.
Together, preparedEPA and prepared360 provide a complete picture: what someone is capable of professionally, and how they work as part of a team.
In many institutions, feedback still works like this: once a year, top-down, and without a structured process. Evaluations are often based on the perspective of a single person.
As a result, blind spots remain unnoticed, and a genuine feedback culture never takes root.
And employees who, when viewed from above (top-down evaluation), may stand out due to high performance can be assessed in a completely different way in a bottom-up evaluation (from the perspective of their subordinates), especially if the entire team suffers under them.
A single, narrow perspective therefore offers little real insight and can even be misleading.
Anyone who wants to develop themselves or their team needs feedback from multiple perspectives. However, traditional 360° feedback comes with its own challenges: it is cumbersome to organize, time-consuming to conduct, and often lacks sufficient psychological safety — especially in hierarchical environments.
360° feedback (also known as multi-source feedback) collects input not only from a direct supervisor, but from various people around the person being assessed: peers, supervisors, learners, and other professional groups.
In contrast to traditional performance reviews or ad-hoc feedback, 360° feedback provides a structured, multidimensional perspective. It makes visible how someone communicates, works within a team, and is perceived as a professional — from multiple viewpoints at the same time.

The mentee selects the people he or she would like to receive feedback from and sends invitations via email, link, or QR code. Invitees do not need an account and can complete the questionnaire directly online without downloading the app.
The person giving feedback first selects the areas they feel able to assess. This ensures that only relevant questions are answered. In addition to ratings, they can also indicate how confident they are in their assessment. Free-text fields allow for qualitative feedback.
The mentee can see at any time how many feedback responses have been received. Once enough feedback has been collected (with the minimum number configurable), the feedback cycle can be closed and the mentor invited.
The feedback is first shared with the mentor — not directly with the mentee. The mentor reviews the results question by question, takes notes, and prepares for the feedback conversation. This intermediate step helps protect the mentee from unfiltered feedback.
The mentor and mentee review the results together. The app provides a structured framework to guide the conversation. At the end, they define development goals for the mentee to work on until the next feedback cycle.
No download, no registration, no account. Open the link, answer the questions — done. Invitations can be sent via email, shared link, QR code, or messenger. Even spontaneously in the hallway.
For the person giving feedback: they decide whether to respond anonymously or with their name. For the mentee: the feedback data belongs to the mentee — there is no central monitoring. However, feedback is first sent to the mentor, never directly and unfiltered to the mentee. This allows the collected responses to be shared with the mentor’s support. The aim is to prevent overwhelm and uncertainty.
The app maps the entire process: from the invitation to the review to the guided feedback conversation with documented learning objectives. No step is lost.
Proven question catalogs, developed at the Institute for Medical Education (IML) at the University of Bern. Custom question catalogs can be configured at any time — tailored to the institution, professional groups, and competency framework.
Feedback providers indicate how confident they are in their assessment. This confidence rating is incorporated into the weighting — well-founded feedback counts more.
Mentees also always assess themselves. The self-assessment is compared with the external assessments — a valuable starting point for the feedback conversation.
Development goals from previous rounds remain visible and can be supplemented with attachments. This creates a traceable development path across multiple cycles.
Each institution receives its own version with its own set of questions, role titles, anonymity settings, and minimum number of feedback responses. Multiple versions per institution are possible—for example, for different professional groups or teams.
