    CBME since 2010

    Though the company was founded in 2020, we started developing concepts, prototypes and and even previous products a decade earlier. The crossing of paths between the doctors Adi Marty and Lukas Kandler with the advocate Francois Thouvenin marked the beginning of  PrecisionED AG, the company behind PREPARED.

    Since then, we launched the second edition of the preparedEPA (formerly prEPAred) Assessment System, which is now in use at an increasing number of institutions across various countries.

Meet our team

Dr. med. Adi Marty MMD
Dr. med. Adi Marty, MME, Founder and CVO

Adi Marty has specialized in EPAs since the beginning of his career. During his fellowship at Stanford, he got in touch with design thinking and developed a first version of preparedEPA thereafter. He is our Chief Visionary Officer.

Lukas Kandler
Dr. med. Lukas Kandler, Founder und Head of Medical

Lukas Kandler has a wide range of interests and experiences: before studying medicine, he completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter and was a competitive downhill biker. In 2024, he successfully graduated with a Master of Health Business Administration (MHBA).

His diverse background fuels his passion for competency-based education and innovation. He is currently completing a part-time Master of Medical Education in Maastricht.

He is our Head of Medical.

Francois Thouvenin
Francois Thouvenin, Founder and CEO

As an attorney having extensive experience in the data privacy side of corporates, François Thouvenin ensures that our principle of trainee-centeredness is implemented. He is our Chief Executive Officer.

André Schraner
André Schraner, CTO

André Schraner has been an entrepreneur his entire career, and successfully built several start-ups. He is our Chief Technology Officer.
